Live and Die Today
I forgot my real camera back at the camp site, but I at least I had my ipod :p this was the view from the top of the mountain we hiked.

This weekend

I’m finally getting away. I really can’t wait. Even though it will only be for a few days, it’s a vacation I’ve desperately needed for a very long time. But it’s more than that. I have a feeling I’m going to learn a lot these next couple of days. I hope I come back a changed man…

There is a place
that still remains.

I know who I am

But every now and then I lose sight of my identity because I’ll think, say or do things that I know I wouldn’t normally think, say or do. And no, they aren’t silly or random things of trivial value. These are very important things that have a large impact on who I am and who I will become in the long run. I’ve got to stop messing around and start doing something with my life!

…but what?

Your bare, undecorated self is already and forever the beloved child of God. When you can rest there, you will begin to share in the universal Christ consciousness, the very “mind of Christ” (1 Corinthians 2:16).

No matter what I do

or where I go

trouble always seems to find me.

It would almost be laughable if it wasn’t so pathetic.

It takes an ocean not to break.
